Neximatic connects to over 200 medical devices from more than 30 manufacturers. Supported devices include: Patient Monitor, Anesthesia Machine, Hemodynamic Monitor, Neuromuscular Monitor, Brain Monitor. To check if your devices are supported, (See Full List). If your device is not listed, please reach out to us here and we can easily add it to our list.
Yes. Neximatic works with HST Pathways. We have active healthcare facilities utilizing Neximatic to automate vital sign streaming into HST Pathways EHR system.
The only network requirement is access to the internet. Each Neximatic device only needs about 10 KB/min outbound bandwidth.
If you have a HST Pathways sales representative, you can inquire with them directly. Alternatively, you can fill out the form; and we will reach out and connect with you and HST Pathways to get things set up. To set-up the vital signs streaming using Neximatic, it will take just a few weeks from engagement to go-live.
Neximatic does not require a local server or VM. The Neximatic devices communicate directly with our cloud servers. For network requirements on HST Pathways, please check with your HST Pathways sales representatives. For more detailed Neximatic network information, see here.
From engagement to go-live takes just weeks, and not months. Actual installation will take as little as a few minutes for PACU, Pre-op Bay or OR. Contact your HST Pathways representative now or reach out to us here, and you can start automating in a few weeks.
There is no PHI that is stored or transmitted by Neximatic. All communications to HST Pathways EHR system is outbound (from Neximatic) only. For more information on Neximatic security, see here.
It’s easy. First, check if your device is already supported by Neximatic (Full list link ). If not, we will develop the driver required to add your device to the list. Connect with us via email at support@neximatic.com or call us at (877) 234-NEXI. Typically, it will take 2 weeks if your device is already on our list (standard support lead time, but it usually happens much faster), or a few weeks if it’s a new addition.
Neximatic’s design and patent pending approach removes the friction from the many physical hardware and differing software / integration steps separating medical devices and your patients’ medical records. Neximatic’s custom designed cables neutralize the difficulty in physically connecting medical devices so that the data can be streamed. The small footprint, compact Neximatic medical appliance located in the OR, Pre-op Bay or PACU location, takes all the data from over 200 different medical devices, streams it into the Neximatic cloud server where it is normalized and transformed into the desirable format of HST Pathways EHR system. Neximatic modular design makes the job of creating new medical device drivers easy. Once a driver is in place, we can speak the language of the medical device.
On the other side, we leverage HL7 type communication (with flexibility to adjust as necessary) to communicate the normalized, transformed vitals sign data to HST Pathways EHR system. We do so in near real time (intervals are configurable) and we do so without the need to touch PHI. For more detailed Neximatic connection information, see here.
